Slewing bearings are widely used in the machinery industry, but to judge the quality of items, we need to check from various details.
1. Is the outer packaging clear:
Double-row tapered roller bearings are generally produced by regular manufacturers. The brands have their own special designers to design the outer packaging, and arrange factories with qualified production conditions to produce them. Therefore, the packaging of the products should be very clear and unambiguous from lines to color blocks.
2. Is the steel printing clear:
Each bearing product will have its brand name, number, etc. printed on the bearing product body. Although the font is very small, the products produced by regular manufacturers are printed with steel printing technology, and the characters are pressed before heat treatment. Therefore, although the font is small, it is deeply concave and very clear. In general, the fonts of counterfeit products are not only blurred, but also float on the surface due to the rough printing technology. Some can even be easily wiped off by hand or have serious manual marks.
3. Is there any noise:
Hold the inner sleeve of the bearing body with your left hand, and move the outer sleeve back and forth with your right hand to make it rotate, and listen to whether there is any noise during the operation of the bearing. Since most counterfeit products are produced under backward conditions and are completely operated in a manual workshop, impurities such as dust and sand will inevitably be mixed into the bearing body during the production process, so there will be noise or uneven operation when the bearing rotates. This is the key to judging whether the product is a brand product of a regular manufacturer with strict production standards and machine operation.
4. Is there any turbid oil stain on the surface:
Whether there is turbid oil stain on the surface requires us to pay special attention when purchasing imported bearings. Since there is still a certain gap between domestic anti-rust technology and foreign advanced manufacturing countries, it is easy to leave thick oil stains when the bearing body is rust-proofed, and it feels sticky when touched by hand, while there is almost no trace of anti-rust oil on the original imported bearings from abroad. According to industry insiders, particularly careful people can smell a special smell on imported bearings, which is the smell of anti-rust oil.
5. Is the chamfer uniform?
The so-called chamfer of the bearing is the intersection of the horizontal and vertical surfaces. Due to the limitations of production technology, counterfeit bearing products do not handle these corners well, which we can easily identify.
6. Bearing packaging:
The packaging is divided into inner packaging and outer packaging. After the bearing is manufactured and passed the inspection, it is cleaned and rust-proofed, and then placed in the inner packaging to achieve waterproof, moisture-proof, dust-proof, impact-proof, maintain the quality and precision of the bearing, and facilitate use and sales.
